Loretta Merritt and Shortline Produce Co. is the 2024 Recipient of the OLAC Local Agriculture Advocacy Award. This award is in recognition of her efforts to promote, mentor and support Local Agriculture in Oklahoma. She helped develop and serve both Farmer’s Markets in Cherokee County, educates and volunteers as an OSU Certified Master Gardener, hosts classes and seminars, speaks to Agriculture Groups and Gardening Clubs, encourages Economic Growth, and promotes the health of the Citizens of Cherokee County, Oklahoma.
